Desert Squid Productions

The Desert Squid is a large unwieldy creature that bays at the moonlight bathing the desert. Feeding off prickly pear fruit and coyotes, it seeks to inject the landscape in a swirling inky blackness, which tells an ever changing tale of darkness and light. It is also available to record your wedding or other events.

Desert Squid was formed in 2004 during the production of our first film “An Arizona Road Fable”. It is amateur microcinema focused production group, which is a collection of bohemian individuals of semi-like-minds (?) who want to do films that they feel matter. We look to develop stories that aren't already out there (if there is such a thing), and we want to take chances. We also want to have fun, but deliver the best microcinema we can. (But really it's all about wedding videos)
